About this stay

A 200-year-old Lakeland stone cottage, steps from the jetty at Windermere. Inside it's all warmth: a wood burner in the inglenook fireplace, a farmhouse kitchen with an AGA, and two cosy bedrooms under the eaves with fell views. The walled garden has a chiminea, hammock and outdoor dining for long summer evenings.

Walk straight from the door onto lakeside trails, sail from the village jetty, or explore Hawkshead and Ambleside — both ten minutes by car. Logs, wellies and board games are all provided.
